Renê

JeQuitibÁ
made with love, in Brazil

The Renê chair was born as an homage; of a partnership spanning design, architecture, and a marriage.
Inspired by quiet sunset afternoons the couple spent in their Manhattan apartment, the chair was designed for reading, introspection, and contemplation.
Its design combines solid jequitibá wood with exposed joints and carbon steel finished in antique gold.
The meeting of straight pieces and delicate details reflects what Victor sees in Renata: strength and lightness, clarity and elegance.
The green bouclé fabric adds serenity and a bond with nature.
Produced in Brazil in partnership with Jequitibá, the Renê chair is, above all, a functional piece made to last, preserving the memory of the one who inspired it.
We don’t believe sustainability is something to show off. It’s just how things should be made. Here’s what that looks like in practice:
Materials with a Story
The Rene Chair is made from solid Sucupira wood, combined withcarbon steel finishes. Every material was chosen with intent: to feel natural, tactile, and connected to its cultural roots.
Thoughtful Craft
Each chair is shaped by artisans at Jequitibá Design, a Brazilian workshop known for precision and respect for tradition. No excess, no unnecessary treatments: only careful making, where every detail has purpose.
Respect in Practice
The partnership with Jequitibá ensures fair conditions for the people who bring these pieces to life. Skilled hands, time, and patience are valued as part of the design itself.
Enduring by Design
The Rene Chair isn’t about fashion or quick impressions. Its form is drawn from cultural tradition, and its build is meant to last: a piece to live with for decades.
Closer to Home
Materials are sourced and crafted locally in Brazil, while our design process integrates digital collaboration from New York. The result: a lighter footprint, and a tighter connection between origin and final piece.
The Arco Chair is produced in collaboration with Jequitibá Design, a Brazilian manufacturer recognized for its commitment to quality and respect for natural materials. Their mastery of woodworking and attention to detail allow our design intent to be realized with integrity: from the sourcing of timber to the final finish.
This partnership reflects our shared values: design that is rooted in context, shaped with care, and built to last.
Please note that due to the bespoke nature of our product, the production and delivery process typically takes about 90 to 120 days. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we create a unique and exquisite piece just for you.
